Taco Chula: Reviews & Ratings
Love the set up of this place. You make your own order are the kiosk which is convenient and simple. You get a number then go outside for seating area table of your choice. They have Greenbrier and fans outside so it is fresh and garden like. Food is excellent. Clean and high quality. Service is not excellent or fast but friendly. Free self serve cold water.
If you're wondering which taco to get, go al pastor all day. The chicken was a bit dry even after dousing it with salsa. Great vibe, patio and service was top.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, Taco Chula is the spot. I’ve traveled to different cities across Mexico several times, and honestly, this place has nothing to envy from the real deal. The gorditas with asada and chorizo are simply spectacular—juicy, flavorful, and packed with that homemade touch. The fried plantains with cheese are pure comfort food (to die for!), and to top it all off, the churros are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just perfect . The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, with a small patio full of character. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. 100% recommended if you want true Mexican flavors done right
I had carne asada tacos and churros. The tacos were good, but I have to say the churros are much better. The size and portions of the tacos are good, same with the churros. They only have two type of salsas for the tacos. I wish they can offer a spicier option.
Quiet little spot with delicious food. Tacos were phenomenal. We got chorizo, steak and al pastor. The atmosphere was great. Will be back
I was on a work trip and found this place to eat some food near my hotel. I am vegetarian, so I was able to find a lot of great options and the food was fantastic. It was a self-serve ordering System, grab a v shaped number tent and sit down at a table outside on patio. A server brings out food with the corresponding number. Not a bad wait and the food was hot and made really well. I enjoyed it and would go again.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Mexican food in the area...hands down! Taco Chula is a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center off PGA Blvd, and once you find it, you’ll be hooked. This place serves authentic, seriously delicious Mexican food made with care and quality ingredients. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing. The tacos, quesadillas, chips and guac, and their fresh pico de gallo are all next level. You can really taste the freshness in every bite, and the flavors are bold, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. It’s easily the best Mexican food around, and it’s not even close. The portions are generous, and the pricing is super reasonable for what you get. Plus, it’s not a fancy establishment, which I really appreciate. I don’t need to get all dressed up just to go grab some tacos; it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be: great food in a laid-back, no-frills setting that focuses on quality, not hype. The staff is always friendly and quick, making the whole experience even better. Just a heads up: they’re closed on Sundays, so make sure to check their hours before heading over. If you're craving real, flavorful, no-nonsense Mexican food, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

From the moment you step in, the self-order kiosk system streamlines the experience, letting you customize your meal with ease before settling into their airy, garden-like patio equipped with fans and plenty of fresh air—perfect for savoring every bite.
The star here is undoubtedly the al pastor taco, praised for its rich, seasoned pork that bursts with flavor. Fans also rave about the gorditas filled with juicy asada and chorizo, delivering that homemade, authentic touch reminiscent of Mexico’s vibrant street food culture. Complimenting these savory options are fried plantains topped with melted cheese, a comforting side that balances the meal beautifully.
Equally impressive are the churros—crispy on the outside and tender inside. They provide a flawless sweet finish that leaves a lasting impression. Portions are generous, satisfying both light eaters and those with heartier appetites. Although some note the salsa selection is limited and could benefit from a spicier variety, the quality and freshness of every dish more than make up for it.
The atmosphere blends cozy and lively, enhanced by friendly, welcoming staff who add warmth to the experience even if the service leans toward casual and unhurried. The free self-serve cold water station is a thoughtful touch, emphasizing comfort and convenience.
